PROWEIN, jeden z najbardziej wpływowych konkursów winiarskich na świecie, zwykle odbywa się w marcu w Düsseldorf. Starting from 2000 Telavi Wine Cellar participates in it showcasing its wines along with the thousands of producers from 46 countries of the world.
PROWEIN 2011(27-29 March) was slightly different from previous years. Our wines have been represented on two different stands. The first was a booth at Georgian Wine Association stand in hall 3 and the second at our importers, Pacific Wine Company Gmbh stand, in hall 6. In addition along with other Georgian wines two of our wines Marani Mtsvane 2010 and Satrapezo Saperavi 2008 have been presented at VINUM stand, by Rudolf Knoll, to showcase multiple characters of Georgian wine styles. Both of them deserved the highest appreciation among wine professionals and consumers. Totally we have presented 14 different wines from REGIONAL, AOC, SINGLE VINEYARD and SATRAPEZO ranges, among them new bottlings, which have not been officially released yet. In General PROWEIN 2011 proved to be quite successful for our company as for showcasing our wines and getting feedback from the professionals and from the other hand, collecting the information of new trends in wine style and packaging around the world.
